November has been a busy month and it was great getting out and serving cocktails and tastings to repeat customers, as well as, introducing new people to our spirits. The Jananli Moonrise Festival with Bottle Keg Can was a success and we had a ball at the Bayside Food & Wine and Jervis Bay Spirits Festival where our Pina Colada was a hit!

We have a great line up of Christmas Markets coming soon - check out the Upcoming Events for details. We will also be extending hours for the distillery cellar door in the lead up to Christmas.

Make sure you order early if you want delivery before Christmas. Australia Post is advising the cutoff date to deliver is the 15th of December for most locations.

We may have been a little naughty and started tasting from our Rum Advent Calendar a little early… there is still time to order yours if you haven’t already done so or are looking for a unique gift.

Cocktail Recipe of the Month:

Ti-Qui-Ri

60ml Solander Rum Co White
30ml Lime Juice (Fresh is best)
30ml Passionfruit Pulp (approx half a passionfruit)
15ml Simple Syrup
5ml (1 tsp) Frangelico
5ml (1 tsp) Campari

Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake with ice for 15-20 seconds. Double strain into your funkiest Tiki mug filled with crushed ice.

Garnish with half a passionfruit and a pineapple frond. Enjoy with a straw.

Optional Tea Syrup

Try experimenting with a tea based syrup instead of simple syrup. Combine a loose-leaf brewed tea (like earl grey) with equal parts of sugar to tea. Stir and dissolve the sugar into the tea. This is a fun way to give this Tiki drink more character and turn it into a Tea-Qui-Ri.

We only have one bottle left of our SRC-2634 Cask Strength Rum (55% abv), which was awarded 2024’s World’s Best Hybrid Still Rum! Hurry if you want this one of a kind rum under your Christmas tree!

We are also staring to run low on the Distlers Strength (47% abv) so now it the time to get some of our very first barrel release.
